Die Autorin, 2023

“Die Autorin” is a performative essay that explores authorship and female strategies in art. The essay critisizes identity-art and proposes abstraction as a language for stage communication.

The theater performance contains pieces of female composers from an experimental collective Moscow Scratch Orchestra that made music based on the British composer Cornelius Cardew’s theories of improvisation.
