Natalia Zaitseva (b. 1983) is an artist and writer who works with theater, performance, video, and participatory practices. Her interests include personal narratives, autofiction literature, and fringe dramaturgy. In her work, she combines emotionality and reflection and distills art out of everyday life.

Since 2012, Natalia Zaitseva has been active as a dramaturg, journalist, writer, and theater director within the Moscow feminist scene, and has taught at the women's writing course Write Like A Girrrl (WLAG Russia). Her plays have been staged at the Meyerhold Center and other theaters. Since 2022, Zaitseva has been working as an artist in exile in Leipzig. In 2026, she completed her studies in media art at the Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig (HGB) in the class of Clemens von Wedemeyer.

In 2023, her performative essay “Die Autorin” premiered in Leipzig at the Schaubühne Lindenfels. In 2025, the participatory performance “Christabel” was produced with the support of the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony (KDFS) and the City of Leipzig.
