Interview with a Pistol, one channel video, 2023

A female researcher questions a 17th century pistol from her feminist perspective. The Turk's head, with which the pistol is decorated, answers her questions and asks her back:  “Why don’t you look at me through the lens of my time and not yours?”

This film work was presented at the exhibition "We show what we (don't) know - images as research". The exhibition was created in collaboration with the Leipzig HGB class “Expanded Cinema” and the research department of the Dresden State Art Collections (SKD).
